1- Issuing permits
– Your Filming Permit is Ready!
– The time frame has been shortened to just 10-30 days.
2- Equipment
Providing the latest equipment, including cameras, grip, lighting, and sound, is made available by EFC for all types of productions and upon the production companies’ request.
4- Crew
The professional production crews and production staff are recommended by EFC, including directors, directors of photography, location managers, production teams, art directors, sound and lighting engineers, cameramen, etc In addition to Egyptian talents.
6- Ariel Filming – Helicopter
We grant all the required permits for aerial filming via helicopters in Egypt. This service enables filmmakers to capture stunning aerial shots that can add a new dimension to their projects and productions.
3- Pre & Post-Production
EFC offers foreign filmmakers all pre-and post-production services through (local Egyptian production companies & line producers) such as: Recess, Equipment, Transportation, Accommodation, Editing, Mixing,..etc.
5- SECURITY
EFC offers police protection and security escorts from the Ministry of Interior during recess and filming.

Filming Procedures
A request from the foreign production company should be sent EFC including all shooting information such as (Final script version in English, lists of crews, shooting schedule).
Accordingly, EFC provides the following services:
- Presenting all information concerning foreign shooting procedures inside Egypt.
- Script approval within 14 days from the date of sending the shooting request.
- EFC prepares a preliminary budget including production and permits cost within 30 days from script approval date to be sent to the foreign production company for approval confirmation.
- Obtaining all shooting permits from all concerned parties within 30 days from sending the script approval.
- Assistance in recces.
- Production teams.
- Accommodation and transportation.
- All pre- and post-production services.
- Shooting equipment according to the production company’s request.
- Handling customs clearance procedures.
Documents Needed
- A list including the names of the production team plus photocopies of their passports.
- A list including actors’ names plus their passports.
- Accompanying equipment list.
- Shooting schedule.
- The production company shall submit an official pledge stating that the sentence “Filmed in Egypt in collaboration with EFC” plus EFC logo will be added to the movie end title sequence.
